Just That Kinda Day

This one is so random. I wrote it off the top of my head on a day that just felt like nothing was going right and I was completely helpless to help anything. It is actually a song not poetry. But I am really bad at transferring music from my head onto paper so you can read it as a poem.

Just That Kinda Day
by Lost

Many years ago it seemed that life was all a game
Now I think that is here to cause us all our pain.
Maybe if I tried to try, my life wouldn’t be this way.
But right now I can’t see that ‘cus it’s just that kind’a day.

It blurs, it shakes it spins around.
My world is crumbling with a dreadful sound.
I wish, I hope, I dream, I wait,
I try to help but it all falls down
on me.

Everything is busy like a race to the death.
I wish I could just lie down, lie down an’ rest
The world is spinnin’ round and round
I just can’t think, can’t put down what’s down.

It blurs, it shakes it spins around.
My world is crumbling with a dreadful sound.
I wish, I hope, I dream, I wait,
I try to help but it all falls down
on me.

If every thing were clear, maybe I could see.
What the heck is is go’in on? whats happin’in’ to me?
Every day is like a blur I just can’t seem to move.
I feel like I’m in a giant game an’ I know I’m gonna lose

It blurs, it shakes it spins around.
My world is crumbling with a dreadful sound.
I wish, I hope, I dream, I wait,
I try to help but it all falls down
on me.

I feel like nothin’s gonna change no matter what I do.
I wish that there was someone, who could tell me what to do.
It’s hurts so bad, i can’t find a way to make it all come right
Maybe it is like a curse, that is on me and all of life.

It blurs, it shakes it spins around.
My world is crumbling with a dreadful sound.
I wish, I hope, I dream, I wait,
I try to help but it all falls down
on me.
I try to help but it all falls down,
on me.

The Somnolent Hedgehog

The Somnolent Hedgehog
by Lost

A hedgehog asked a typewriter,
If she’d like to go out on a date
The typewriter answered, “That would be nice
As long as we’re not out to late.”

After they finished dining
The hedgehog was heard to remark,
“It’s a beautiful warm summer evening,
Let’s go for a stroll in the park”

They watched the rainbow sunset,
And the typewriter started to weep.
She said “My dear Hedgehog, I love you”
But alas, her true love was asleep.
