Conference Seminar Notes

MrsPages recently gave 2 very well received seminars at our local Homseschool Association conference. In order to let people just sit and listen and not have to worry about taking notes, we promised to post the information from her presentation here.

The originals were in OpenOffice format, and were quite large, so here the are in PDF format:

I Am, I Can, I Ought, I Will: The Ideas of Charlotte Mason

Organizing The Chaos

We were touched by the number of people who were grateful to get information about Charlotte Mason, and the personal stories of people who also struggle with home organization were very moving.

Thank you to those who attended and made the effort worthwhile.

If you were there, please let us know you were here by commenting!

EDIT TO ADD: THE “CONTACT US” FORM WAS BROKEN AND WASN’T SENDING US MESSAGES. If you tried to use the “Contact Us” form recently, please do it again because we didn’t get your message. It works now.

Although I am not a homeschooler, yet anyways, I found these notes inspiring. Especially the one about organizing chaos. I used to pride myself on being an organized person. But with life, a home business, a busy toddler, and renovations, I’m finding it impossible to stay on top of it all. I appreciate the reminder to go to God first. Something I need constant reminding of it seems. And I liked the to-do list, being a constant list-er myself.
Thanks for sharing your journey and advice, it’s definitely helpful.

Excellent content and excellent ppt! I would have loved to hear both seminars. You’ve created something to be very proud of.

Hi Jennifer,
I enjoyed your seminar about organization. I especially appreciated your version of a menu and I loved the idea of having a pantry list.
I appreciate your openness and honesty. I am grateful for your notes on Charlotte Mason. I hope to talk to a friend who attended that conference and was glowing with excitement afterwards. I regret that I couldn’t be there in person.
God blessl you and yours,
Karen Gadd
