About Me and My Family

I just turned forty.

I’ve been a wife for seventeen years (to the same awesome guy!)

I’m a mother to five beautiful children.
On this blog they go by the names:

    Lost or BananaBerry or Page1 – 15 going on 30 with a cutting wit
    Doviegirl or Page2 – 13 and domestic goddess
    Lil Mister IQ (an inside family nickname) or LittlePage3 – 12 and death defying
    Tiggerific or LittlePage4 – 10 and a bouncy, cheerful bundle of energy
    Superchick (self appointed, I might add) or LittlestPage – 6 and cutest thing around

I live in a twelve year old renovation project. We got it cheap and I love it, even in progress, most of the time.

I am home educating my children – high school, middle school, and elementary, simultaneously.
I may one day be a really smart lady if my brain doesn’t explode along the way.

I like to write so I have a blog.

I like to make things with my hands and so I doodle in scrap booking, paper arts, knitting and such.

I love to sew. A lot. From ideas in my head using scraps of fabric and old clothes I find at the Goodwill.

I love to read. Even more than I love to sew. If that can be possible.

Most of all I love to spend time with family and friends.

Moments are precious. We pass by this way but once.
