Note to Self:
When you get home from picking up a few extra items from Walmart, the Saturday before Christmas, check the bags to make sure that you put the Christmas ham into the fridge, not into the closet with the rest of the Christmas stuff.
Merry Christmas!

Oh No! Did that really happen?!
Embarrassingly, yes.
Fortunately, it stayed sealed in its plastic.
Perhaps even more embarassing: It actually crossed my mind, for a nanosecond, “Would this still be okay?”
It was the Lord trying to save you from all those Nitrates
But it’s only once a year – my one concession to childhood memories!
MrBranches once left a roastpan in the oven after cooking me a birthday chicken dinner (when we were still dating) Summertime. One of his roommates found it a few days later. So it could be worse.
The LittlePages loved this story, MrsBranches!
Did I ever tell you the story about finding the bread when Vince and I were dating? I was over at his apartment in the kitchen and I smelled something a bit funny. Which was odd in and of itself since all they had was cans of zoodles and lipton soup. Anyway, so I look in a couple of cupboards to see what the problem is. Nothing. Finally I get to the high up cupboard over the fridge and what do I find? Two green loaves of bread. Not a little bit green here and there. COMPLETELY green from top to bottom. Not a bit of crust still showing! It was kind of pretty if you could get over the yuck factor!
