A favourite of mine is to say that you have a great knock knock joke and tell them to say knock knock.
Then they say knock knock and you ask who’s there? Almost everytime it stumps them. I’ve pulled this one on my nephew a few times already. It gets good laughs from everyone else, and then the child clues in too.
