I read the books of C.S. Lewis when I was a child, too. And some of the things in them stuck with me throughout my life. It’s a good thing to keep them in mind.
No, we are not told what would have happened. And that’s good. Because it’s hard enough to take decisions, weighing the choices. But once we did, we have to stand by our decisions.
This quote was a good choice.
